Use case: Information about the pick-up point through the interface
Use Case
In order for the pick-up point search to work through Tehden, the REST API PickUpLocator must be activated from nShift. An exception to this is Posti, where the search for pick-up points is done in their own open interface. Once the activation is done, Tehden can pick up a list of nearby pick-up points (including their IDs) from nShift based on the street address, postal code, or city. When a shipment is done with, for example, the createShipment function, the function needs the pick-up point's ID to deliver the package in the right place. The integrator retreieves the pick-up point ID from nShift.
